Great Week of Stitching

I worked on the Peacock Tapestry pretty much every evening this week plus a little a little bit over the weekend. I am concentrating right now on the bottom left hand corner inside the border. This is my progress so far:

This weekend I took part in a weekend SAL on Facebook and completed a good portion of the border.

It was beautiful day today - not too hot, no bugs - so I stitched most of the afternoon outside. It is such a treat to stitch in natural light.

I also started one of the kits in the Mill Hill Nutcracker Ballet Series - Drosselmayer. I won't post a pic until it is finished but this is how it will look when it is done.

I will be keeping this ornament for myself to go on my Nutcracker Tree.

  1. Fantastic stitching! What SAL on Facebook are you doing? I'm fairly new to Facebook, so I'm still learning the ropes.
