Day 9 - Crazy January Challenge 2011

Last night I said it was going to be a busy day. Well, in fact, it turned out to be a lazy pajama day. All I did was stitch and watch old movies on TCM. (And take down my Nutcracker Christmas tree.)

My SIL and her family were suppose to come over at 11:00 am for brunch but we had to cancel. There was a water leak on our street and we were without running water from around 9:00 Saturday evening until about 3:00 this afternoon. Since we couldn't take a shower and the thought of 8 people in a house without a flushing toilet didn't sound like a good idea we decided to reschedule the brunch. The city set up a water supply trailer across the street from us so we at least had access to water for our morning coffee and to wash up.

My "crazy" start for today was LHN's Winter Sheep - one of the 2010 Ornament of the Months. I finished 4 last year and I hope to finish the rest this year. I absolutely love LHN's designs and I have already signed for an automatic shipment of the 2011 Ornaments. I have almost finished it. If I wasn't so tired I probably would have completed it today.

Thank you for dropping by and for all your wonderful comments.

Take care and Happy Stitching!!!
