STITCH FROM STASH - JANUARY

Month:     January
Spent:     $13.67 Cdn
Earned:  $4.95 Cdn ($4.00 US)

I have set my budget at $30.00 Cdn, an approximate equivalent of $25.00 US.

My balance to carry forward for next month is  $21.28

My purchases this month were for some DMC threads and GAST threads.

I have had 5 finishes this month but only 1 earned a bonus.

Winter Holiday Nutcracker Ballet - Prince @ 2008 Mill Hill

Of the others, two were from charts purchased in the last 6 months and the other 2 were started last year and required very little stitching to finish off.

I joined SFS this year in order to become more accountable for the amount of money I spend on stash.  Last year (not being part of SFS) I went overboard on purchases and I am definitely in the
SABLE (Stash Accumulation Beyond Life Expectancy) category.

I currently subscribe two magazines - Just for Cross Stitch and Cross Stitch & Needlework plus 3 chart series - CCN - Classic Ornaments,  LHN - 2015 Ornaments and  HOD - A Year in Chalk.   Between them I should have more than enough S.E.X. (Stash Enhancement Experience).

I resisted one temptation this month.   I love, love Little House Needlework Designs and earlier this month I saw that they were presenting with Dyeing to Stitch a 4-part series called "My Dwelling Place".   It was hard but I decided to back away.   I have several LHN charts in my stash that I have yet to stitch, so they should hold me over.

I am looking forward to this stitching year and being a part of SFS group.

Take care and happy stitching!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for visitng!!!!
