It may have rained and snowed but ...........................

we still had a good time out at the trailer. DH spent quite a lot of time outdoors with Mandy (the dog) throwing sticks and building large fires (the man does not know the meaning of the word moderation) and I mange to do quite a bit of stitching and reading in between getting the trailer ready for closing up. In the evenings we watched movies (State of Play, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Razor's Edge, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, North and South mini series, Persuasion, Midsomer Mysteries Set 11 and Sunshine Cleaning.)

I finished the following piece while out there:

I also managed to put a lot of work into the Garden Fantasy Mystery SAL (Pamela Kellogg). I finished the Bumble Bee and made significant progress on the Ladybug and the Butterfly.

I have become intriqued with the Tudors again (I love the TV series and I was obsessed with the Royal Family Tree in my teens) and managed to read (and listen) to 2 books this past week involving them - The Constant Princess - Philippa Gregory and To Shield the Queen: A Mystery in Queen Elizabeth I's Court - Fiona Buckley.

Still Stitching

Well I didn't get much stitching done during the week but I did manage a little time over the weekend to work on the "Garden Fantasy" and "Needleworkers Creed".

I still haven't finished putting together the 3 ornaments I stitched while on holidays. Hopefully I will get around to it tomorrow. I started another ornament on the weekend - a MH bead kit (The Mouse King). I love the MH kits. They make nice ornaments and stitch up fairly quickly.

Have you missed me!!!!!!!!!!

I have been on holidays with very limited internet access so I haven't posted any updates for awhile! We spent the time out at the trailer. The weather wasn't the greatest but I did manage to get lot of stitching done! I worked on three pieces:

Peacock Tapestry by Teresa Wentzler

I added a new piece to my rotation. I had started it last year and felt like pulling it out again.
