I am still here ...................

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth although it has been over a month since I last posted. It just been a busy time of the year.

I will be taking time in the next few days to visit some of my favourite blogs. I am curious to see what you all have been up to. I done a bit of stitching and knitting myself over the last few weeks and will be posting a few pictures soon. Although I won't be able to post pictures of everything. I was so behind the eight ball in stitching some of my ornaments that I gave them away before I had a chance to take a picture of them. :( Oh well, not the end of the world.

I didn't even get a chance to update my Blog with a Christmas theme. However, last night and this morning I did manage to do a Happy New Year's theme. I am pleased with the results. It is nice to make a change once in awhile.

I off now to do some stitching, knitting and reading. I am currently stitching on ornaments for next year and I want to get back to my UFO (Peacock Tapestry) plus start an a new project - haven't decided which. I am also finishing up the year's worth of dishcloths from the Monthly Dishcolths KAL yahoo group. I am a couple of months behind. My current read is Dr. Zhivago. Saw the movie the other day on TCM and decided I wanted to read the book.

I will be back tomorrow. Hopefully, with some pictures.

on the weekend I manage to change my blog into 3 columns without messing anything up, thanks to the very helpful instructions on The Cutest Blog on the Block website. It is so nice to have the extra sidebar space since I seem to be so addicted to making lists, collecting buttons, blinkies, etc.

I also have been looking at customizing my header. I did a little tinkering around today using a banner from TCBOTB. After Halloween I am going to try to come up with something different.
