Another One Done!!!

Well, I finally finished another project from the 2011 Crazy January Challenge.

Ornament of the Month, "Under the Tree" ADU-19, Copyright 2010
Little House Needleworks

So, that is 6 done out of 15.   As you probably noticed I am easily distracted by new projects, especially mystery SALs, so I haven't been working on the Crazy January projects very much in the past few months.   However, between now and Dec. 31st I am going to try and focus on them a bit more and hopefully will be finish a few more.

This one won't qualified for the Christmas Ornament Challenge 2011 since I started back in January, but it is another for my Christmas Basket (the one I pass around Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for the family to chose an ornament from).   I have completed 9 and need at least 4 more.

Well, I am going to do some more stitching!!!     Hope you are all having a great weekend.  I'll be back tomorrow, if not sooner.

Take care and happy stitching!!!!!

Reindeers and more Reindeers

I finally finished the Christmas Eve Flight this evening. So that is one down and who knows how many more for the Christmas Ornament Challenge 2011.

36 ct Flax Edinborough Linen, DMC

I am currently on a Reindeer kick right now so my next 3 ornaments will be Reindeers also.  I started this evening on Holly Reindeer by Daffycat.    I will also be doing her other 2 reindeer designs - Jinglebell Reindeer and Mistletoe Reindeer. This is my progress so far on the Holly Reindeer.

I hoping this weekend to also finish my LHN - Under the Tree and San-Man Original - Witchy Boot.

Thanks for visiting and happy stitching!!!

Day 13, 14, & 15 - Crazy January Challenge 2011

Well, it is Day 15 and here are my starts for the last 3 days.

Day 13 - LHN 2010 Ornament of the Month - Frosty Flakes. I was rather tired that day so I didn't get much stitched.

Day 14 - LHN 2010 Ornament of the Month - Under The Tree. We were able to leave work early on Friday so I managed to get a good start on this one. I also managed to finally take down my tree in the living room and packing away the ornaments. Tomorrow I will be packing my Nutcrackers and the house will back to normal until next Christmas.

Day 15 - LHN 2010 Ornament of the Month - All is Calm. Not a bad start on this one either. I didn't start on it until late this afternoon. I spent most of the morning reading Lee Child's 61 Hours and then I had a bit of housework and laundry to do. I was reading 61 Hours before going to sleep last night and just hit the exciting part so when I woke up this morning I couldn't do anything else until I finished the book.

Now comes the next fun part of this challenge. Trying to get all these wonderful new starts finished this year. Based on my track record that will be a challenge and a half.

Thank you for all for your wonderful supportive comments during this challenge. I really appreciated them.

I will try to post at least once a week with progress on these projects.

Take care and Happy Stitching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
