Holidays are over................................

and I am back in the city and back at work!!!!:( I had a great time - the weather was good and I managed to get a lot of reading, knitting and stitching. Last night I scanned in some pictures so here they are.

While on holiday I found time to work on the Peacock Tapestry. I haven`t touched this project for a few weeks. I didn`t get much done but I did add a few stitches to the tree trunks on the left.

I finally finished Part 1 (of 8) of the Kustom Krafts Naptime Dragon SAL and got a bit started on the 2nd part. It is very slow going with this one but what do I do the first day I get back from holidays. I sign up to do another KK SAL. This time I will be stitching the Unicorn. Judging from the thread list I was sent the other day I think this one uses about every shade of blue in the DMC palette.

The following is a needlebook I stitched a few months ago for an exchange. I used the letter S from the Garden Alphabet by Ellen Mauer Stroh. It is freebie available on her forum.

I did manage to finish 1 SAL while on holidays. It is Cherish Each Day by Helga Mandl.

The remaining pictures are of all the dishcloths I finished knitting up in the past 2 months.

Well that is it for now. I am almost finished the Twas the Night Before Christmas and I will post a pic once it is all done. There is another Dishcloth KAL starting Sunday plus the Unicorn SAL starts Sunday also.

Happy Stitching (Knitting)!!!!!!!!!!!

In the Garden Exchange

I recently participated in a "In the Garden" exchange. This past week my partner received her package and I received mine.

The following is what I sent my partner, Sheril. I made her needlebook using the Garden Alphabet from EMS.

After making 2 needlebooks already for this Exchange and for another one I did last year, I finally have one of my own. Lynn sent me this adorable Ladybug needlebook along with some beautifully coloured cording, a package of needles and Spring napkins.

Thanks Lynn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
