I don't have any stitching progress pictures to post at the moment (hopefully in a day or two, I will) but I have received some goodies in the mail lately. First I took part in a Valentine Card Exchange at the San Man Originals MB. My partner, Tonya, sent me a lovely card with lots of extra goodies.
I sent her a card I made using this template and pink textured card stock. I also stitched her a Floss Tag (I forgot to take a picture of it before mailing it, but you can see a picture of it on Tonya's Blog here. I used the pattern Love Bug by Erynne Chard © 2008. and I attached a skein of WDW Romance.
Earlier this week, I received two exciting packages in the mail. First, Aubree, picked up on my love for anything Nutcracker related - I wonder what gave me away ;) - and sent me the "The King's Drummer" by Medeiros Needlecraft Design. Isn't he adorable.
Second I received the first of the 2011 Ornament from Little House Needleworks - "Cardinal Winter" along with the fabric to stitch it on and the Crescent Colours & WDW threads called for in this pattern and the "Peppermint Twist" chart (2010 Ornaments).
Yesterday, I joined another exchange - a Spring/Easter Exchange - hosted by Elaine. If you are interested, she has extended the deadline to join to this Tuesday. The details about the exchange can be found here.
Also, Deborah is having a wonderful giveaway on her blog to celebrate reaching 300 followers (she is now at 370). She is drawing a winner tomorrow (Feb. 14th) evening.
Happy Stitching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. - I am planning to have another giveaway once I have reached 100 followers. I only need 4 more so invite your friends.
Thanks again for all your lovely comments.
Lovely goodies from Tonya and the fob you stitched for her is really pretty.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing your new Ornie stitched up.
