I meant to post this on Sunday......................

My weekly stitching progress but as often happens - LIFE!!!!!!!!!!

So here I am a couple of days later.

I finished the last in the Hearts of Canada series - Ontario.

Now that this WIP/UFO is finished I pulled another one out of my pile - Garland Fair by Blackbird Designs (Loose Feathers #16).  This one I started a few years back.

Once I finish stitching the saying (1 over 1).I just need to add a few eyelets and finish the border and it will be done!!!! 

My other WIPs are also coming along nicely.

Long weekend - more stitching time.

Had an extra long weekend so there was lots of time to get some stitching in.

First on the plate was a new start.  An internet stitching friend, Shelley, announced on FB Friday that after a long stitching drought she finally picked up her needle again and was stitching a collaboration chart called Side by Side © 2003 Just Nan/Charland Designs.  I have had this kitted up for some time now to do as a SAL with someone so after spending quite a bit of the weekend looking all over the house for the chart (only to finally find it in the basket of WIPs I had sitting beside my stitching area)I started to stitch on it Sunday evening.   This is my progress so as of yesterday.  It is the first of 24 bands.

The chart has various hues of purple which is Shelley's favourite colour as well as mine

In homage to all the snow we have received this winter I also pulled out an WIP from 2012 - LHN's Snowflake. Instead of bitching about the snow, I am going to stitch it.

I also made a little more progress on Beary Merry Christmas! and Peace.

 All in all it was a very good weekend.
